Caring Hands, Happy Paws:
Get to Know Our Staff
Hi, I'm Courtney!
Owner and founder of Goldiewalks
I’ve spent over 15 years in the dog care industry and the last 10 building a business for dogs who weren’t meant to sit still. At Goldiewalks, we believe every dog deserves a wild side and a walk that lives up to it.
I’m a single mom to two incredible boys, one of whom lives with cerebral palsy. Balancing motherhood, a loyal client base, and a trusted team has shaped how I lead: with patience, adaptability, and heart. Life isn’t predictable, and neither are dogs, so we know how to roll with it. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, bringing structure and accountability to the chaos (because even wild sides need rules). Outside of work, I’m usually strength training, boxing, or running doing anything that burns energy, just like the dogs I work with. While dogs are my day-to-day, I grew up a lifelong cat lover and still proudly claim that title.
You’ll probably recognize me by my signature dreadlocks which are the inspiration behind the name Goldiewalks. This business reflects my life and values: structured when it needs to be, flexible when it matters most, and built for dogs to be dogs.
Mary Hanafin
I grew up in Burlington, MA, surrounded by animals—especially horses—on a property with a barn and plenty of pets that felt like family. At my technical high school, I spent four years studying everything about dogs, from grooming and training to breed identification and behavior. I truly love being around animals, and working with them brings me real joy. As the youngest of nine siblings, I’ve learned the value of patience and teamwork. Outside of work, I’m probably enjoying a good cup of coffee, some sushi, or my favorite treat—Kit-Kats!
Suri Chavali
I’m a lifelong soccer player and coach with experience at UMass Boston, UMass Amherst, and the New England Revolution U18s. When I’m not on the field, I love spending time outdoors—reading, visiting the zoo, and walking your amazing dogs! At home, I share my space with two Pueblan Milk Snakes, Captain Jack and Mazikeen. My favorite meals? Definitely Korean barbecue and Jamaican food.
Amber Casaubon
I’ve been working with dogs for about three years, and being part of the Goldiewalks team has truly been a perfect fit for me. I graduated from a technical high school, where I started building the hands-on skills I use every day in my work. I’m also certified in animal CPR and first aid, because safety and care are just as important to me as creating a fun, positive experience for every dog I meet. Working with animals isn’t just a job—it’s something I genuinely love to do.
When I’m not dog walking, I also love making art of any kind! Tattooing, watercolor—love it all!
Alexa
Your Friendly Dog Walker! With a background from an agricultural high school specializing in grooming, I bring my passion for pets to every walk. Before this, I honed my skills as a brusher bather, ensuring every fur baby looks and feels their best!
When I'm not having fun outdoors with my furry friends, you can find me enjoying delicious pizza, running, or whipping up something tasty in the kitchen. I'm all about spreading joy and tail wags, one walk at a time!
Let's hit the trails together!
Audrey Baker
I’m Audrey! I’ve been working for Goldiewalks for two years, while simultaneously following my passion as a vet tech. My strengths are that I have a strong sense of what each dog needs and always bring a calm and loving approach each day I’m on the trails. I grew up in Canton, MA, and have two dogs named Skyla & Sammy. In my spare time you’ll catch me mowing on Mexican food or relaxing with a good book.
Mana Chavali
I’m a former Boston University graduate, where I was a student-athlete, and I’m currently a professional soccer player. I’m a big fan of Boston sports teams and love spending time with friends and learning new things. I’ve owned dogs all my life and have also worked as a dog walker and dog boarder. My favorite foods are pasta, sushi, and kebab, and a fun fact about me is that I can do a backflip!

Ruby Riggs
Hi! My name is Ruby. I’ve loved working with fur babies for as long as I can remember, probably since the 4th grade! I’ve been chasing that dream through a career in veterinary medicine, and it truly fills my heart to care for those who can’t speak for themselves.
If you have a fur baby, you know the joy of sharing life together. Whether it’s a long walk or just a quick car ride, they’re always by your side. I don’t think anything gets better than that. :)
Our team at Goldiewalks LLC is committed to providing exceptional care, one wagging tail at a time. Every staff member shares our mission of keeping pets happy, healthy, and loved while you’re away. When you choose Goldiewalks, you’re not just getting a service—you’re joining a community of pet lovers who treat every dog like family.
